Chlamydia is a bacterial infection that can affect the mucous lining of the dick, ass, throat or eyes.
Symptoms may appear between seven and 21 days after infection, but can be mild or in some cases absent. Symptoms can include a discharge from your penis or pain in your balls, when peeing or fucking. If not treated, chlamydia may decrease fertility.
Chlamydia is passed on through oral sex, fucking and getting fucked, and can affect the throat, the urethra (penis, front hole, or vagina) and ass.
Chlamydia is easily transmitted through anal sex, oral sex and anal foreplay such as rimming or fingering. Touching an infected area and then touching your own penis or ass can pass on the infection.
Chlamydia can be detected by a swab collected from the anus and the throat, or by a urine sample. It is preferable not to pee for an hour before giving the sample.
Chlamydia can be easily cured with antibiotics.
If you're living with HIV: If diagnosed early, chlamydia is easily treatable.
Reduce the risk of getting – or passing on – chlamydia by using condoms. When you're playing, keep condoms close by, not just for your/his dick, but also any sex toys you may use. It’s also a good idea to wash your body parts between play, and if you are playing with more than one guy - rinse your mouth, genitals and ass between guys.
